Cynthia Enloe, 16 Days Advisory Committee
Cynthia Enloe is a Research Professor at Clark University in the Department of International Development, Community, and Environment and Women’s Studies. A majority of her research focuses on women’s place in national and international politics. She has written twelve books, covering issues that encompass gender-based discrimination as well as racial, ethnic and national identities. Her research interests focus on the interactions of feminism, women, militarized culture, war, politics and globalized economics in countries such as Japan, Iraq, the US, Britain, the Philippines, Canada, Chile and Turkey.
